One camera is easy. A grid of twenty across three sites is where structure earns its keep.
The Untamed Data Platform organizes work as organization → projects → cameras. A project is a site, a grid, or a study area; the cameras belong to it. That keeps a fifty-camera, multi-site program from turning into a folder of loose files.
How it fits together
- Per-camera login — each camera gets its own FTP/FTPS account, so uploads map to the right camera automatically, whatever the file names.
- Shared dashboard — filter the whole project by species, camera, and date, or drill into one station.
- One map — every camera's GPS location on a single map, with detection counts per point.
- Team access — field staff, managers, and partners work from the same project and the same records.
Why it matters
Grouping cameras this way is what lets you compare stations, spot where activity concentrates, and report on a whole site at once — instead of stitching together per-camera exports by hand.
