How camera upload works

Each camera in Untamed Data gets its own FTP/FTPS account. When the camera uploads a photo or video, the platform knows exactly which project and camera it belongs to — regardless of folder names or file naming on the device. Automatic upload works over whatever internet the camera has — WiFi to a router, or a cellular SIM — as long as it can reach our FTPS endpoint.

After upload, wildlife AI runs in the background. Results appear in your dashboard, analytics, maps, and review queue. Footage can also come in by manual upload — from an SD card or your computer — an equally supported path.
